How much are the lambing tour tickets?
Tickets are £16 per person
Are child tickets the same price as adult tickets?
Yes, the experience is a flat fee for all attendees over 1 year old. Children under 1 year are free.
I’m pregnant/trying for a family can I still attend?
Lambing Experiences are not suitable for expectant mums, but we look forward to welcoming you and your family in the future.
What time should I turn up for my lambing experience?
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your allocated time to allow for parking.
How long does the experience last?
The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a visit to the lambing shed, bottle feeding lambs and time in our tea tent.
Can I visit the farm out with a pre-booked tour?
Unfortunately, as we are a working farm we cannot accept unplanned visits.
Do I have to book online?
Yes, please book using the following link. If you have any specific requirements, please contact us to discuss them.
What should I wear for my experience?
Please wear warm, waterproof clothes and sturdy shoes, most areas are paved but there are some gravel areas. Please note the whole experience is outside or in barns, there are no heated areas.
What happens if it rains on the day of my experience?
Farm tours run rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather. If the weather conditions are unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a refund.
Are you wheelchair friendly?
Most areas are wheelchair friendly, either paved or compacted gravel. There are disabled toilets available. If you have any specific requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Is the lambing experience suitable for children?
Yes, our lambing experiences are family-friendly! Children will enjoy seeing the animals and learning about farm life. Just be sure to keep a close eye on them around the animals for safety. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
What age group are the experiences best suited to?
The experiences are great for all to enjoy. Whether you’re a couple, a group of friends or a family wanting to enjoy a unique day out. It appeals to everybody from 1yrs – 91yrs+.
Do you do private tours?
Please contact us if you would like to arrange a private tour and we will see if we can accommodate you.
Can I bring by dog?
Given the close proximity to livestock please leave your dogs at home. Guide dogs are welcome.
Will there be food available?
Yes, there will be a selection of tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes available to purchase from our tea tent.
Do I get to feed the animals?
Everyone on the lambing experience will have the chance to bottle feed a lamb (1 bottle between 2 people). You will also have the opportunity to hand feed sheep and donkeys. Unfortunately, you will not be able to feed the highland cows.
Will I definitely get to see a lamb being born?
If there is a lamb being born during a tour you will be able to watch but this cannot be guaranteed.
Are there any safety guidelines I need to follow during the tour?

Can I take photos during the tour?
